A lavish praise for the arch-traitor Tsolakoglou, who capitulated in favor of the Third Reich nazi occupiers of our country, and became prime minister of the first occupation government: “It is widely known that responsibility for the capitulation with the Germans was assumed by General George Tsolakoglou and the bishop of Ioannina Spyridon, both figures saddled with many national struggles and thus no nastiness could touch them. In my opinion, the capitulation was necessary at the moment because the very existance of Greece was really at stake.”
